The Zone Diet - Is broken down into 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein and
30% good fats. You eat 5 times a day and try not to consume more than
500 calories per meal or 100 calories per snack.
The Zone is a
low-calorie diet and therefore will help you lose weight. It limits
unhealthy fats and allows for healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables
and lean protein. While the 40-30-30 parameters are rigid, the list of
foods you are required to eat are not. This diet is good for people who
do not have to follow a set menu, but can pick from a list of healthy
foods.
